ECTRIMS 2024 is the premier meeting place for researchers, clinicians and healthcare providers to collaborate on the next life-changing research and treatment options for people with MS and related diseases. Attracting an estimated 9,000 delegates from all corners of the world, this year’s event will feature an international range of speakers including keynote lectures and oral and poster presenters, together with expertly selected scientific and educational sessions, networking opportunities, and much more.
ECTRIMS is the world’s largest annual international conference devoted to basic and clinical research in multiple sclerosis. The congress covered all the latest and exciting new developments in multiple sclerosis, including treatment, genetics, pathology, imaging, immunology, and epidemiology. The mission of ECTRIMS is to facilitate communication, create synergies, and promote and enhance research and learning among professionals for the ultimate benefit of people affected by MS. The goal of this congress is to support and promote basic and clinical research in MS in Europe and liaise with other related organisations on a worldwide scale.

The ECTRIMS 2024 Patient Community Day participants will dive into an exciting and informative programme featuring two interactive sessions. They will explore the forefront of multiple sclerosis research and treatment, focusing on groundbreaking topics like remyelination and myelin repair. Additionally, they will discover promising new therapies that could revolutionise patient care, along with practical lifestyle changes and effective symptom management strategies.
The programme is further complemented by specialised sessions for Nurses and separate Educational Sessions. Sessions including abstract presentations such as Free Communications and Young Investigators sessions will be allocated into topics once the abstracts have been selected.
